Learned quite a bit in a short time. The pace was good. As it turned out there were only two of us, so that made it really easy to get questions answered.

I enjoyed meeting Alexis. He's a personable guy with some good insights to share and showed some flexibility in going with the flow--and engaging the participants, willing to answer questions. I picked up a few tips that I can incorporate in the near future, so in that regard the class was helpful. The smaller number of participants (two) was also beneficial. As a teacher, I'm always cognizant of having my learners staying engaged, on topic, productive--getting more bang for the buck during classroom engagements. Thus, I tend to naturally observe any classes I take with that background filter in mind.

October FallsFall is my favorite season and I wanted to capture the feeling of those final days before November?s bare trees and blue skies take over. This image was shot in mid October after a heavy rain. Sea Salt was closed but the Falls were in full flow. It was my second attempt at long exposure using a 10 stop neutral density filter. This time it was successful.I used a Canon R5, 24 - 105 lens on a tripod. Exposure was 5 sec at f9.

Title or Location: Minneapolis Sunset from the Witches Hat 1
I was north of the city taking photos of the skyline from a new (for me) location. As I was doing so, I noticed the crescent moon in the sky to the west. I have always wanted to get a photo of the crescent moon above the city during the twilight hour but I have always been horrible at keeping track of when it would be visible. So I made my way over to Prospect Park and the Witches Hat water tower. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived, the moon was no longer visible. Fortunately, the colors in th

I enjoy creating stories in my head for those I see throughout the day, almost hoping to live vicariously through them and trying to piece together what their to-do list is while trying to achieve my own. This photo was taken while driving through downtown Minneapolis, with the shutter rather high in order to create the silhouette that I have been chasing. Editing wise I made the photo black and white to highlight the contrast that is being viewed, I believe it helped focus on the shapes and
