Learned quite a bit in a short time. The pace was good. As it turned out there were only two of us, so that made it really easy to get questions answered.

I enjoyed meeting Alexis. He's a personable guy with some good insights to share and showed some flexibility in going with the flow--and engaging the participants, willing to answer questions. I picked up a few tips that I can incorporate in the near future, so in that regard the class was helpful. The smaller number of participants (two) was also beneficial. As a teacher, I'm always cognizant of having my learners staying engaged, on topic, productive--getting more bang for the buck during classroom engagements. Thus, I tend to naturally observe any classes I take with that background filter in mind.

Title or Location: LifeTime Fitness, rooftop
This was captured by my Sony RX 100 vii in September 2024 on the rooftop of lifeTime Fitness, Edina. Ir was a moody cloudy day and I believe a storm was heading our way. The smallness of the camera allows for easily having it with you almost at all times. And it?s worth it. How many times have you seen a photo opportunity only to regret not having your camera with you?

Beqa Lagoon, Fiji. Cathedral Shark dive. I caught this awesome female tiger shark right after the diver pictured to the right fed her a fish head. Taken with a Sony a7rv in a nauticam dive housing, with inon z330 strobes. Special thanks to the dive team for letting me into the "theater" so that I could get these great shots!

I spent a week photographing Tiger Sharks in the Bahamas in March 2024. Large females return to the ?Tiger Beach? area each year to give birth and have been habituated to human interaction. I thought it might be scary but I found it thrilling! Shot with a Sony a7rv with 28-60mm kit lens in Nauticam dive housing and Inon z330 strobes. What an experience! @epicdiving

I went to the 50th Avenue Bridge to get some photos of the skyline, along with traffic trails on 35W in the foreground. I did capture some of those, but the way the city lit up that night, I did a close up of the skyline as it was too good to pass up.

Title or Location: Minneapolis and the September Moon 8
I was just west of Highway 100 on the frontage road that runs along the north side of Highway 55 for this photo. I had attempted photographing the full moon from this spot a few times previously only to have clouds move in. This time it worked out, though, my goal next time is to be there when the moon will be closer to the skyline.

A beautiful rainbow just on sunrise at Watonga Rocks, at Lighthouse Beach in Port Macquarie, Australia. The rainbow persisted for over an hour, allowing time to wade out into the surf to get the rainbow positioned just right for a photograph. I had to watch for breaking waves behind me while taking photographs to avoid bring dunked and I had to tun for it several times. Happily it all worked out and I captured a great images.

The photo was taken at Emsworth, a very picturesque harbour on the south coast of England. The sea was incredibly calm making it like a mirror, and the morning light was soft and warm in colour. I was stood on the harbour wall and framed the shot to include the sunken boat to give it scale and perspective.
